Very often, Newsome’s Studio is hired to create business headshots for company bio pages, and occasionally, a group photo for a business’s “Meet the Team” page. We love doing group photos, and have been doing them for years, but there are times when not everyone is present or maybe there isn’t room to compose a large group in a small office space. This is when we put our creative thinking cap on and jump into “composite” mode.

With the magic of digital imaging, we have the ability and talent to photograph several people individually, then composite them into one image that very convincingly, looks as though they were taken together. Several images of each person are taken, using different angles and body positions, then only the very best of each person is selected, creating one incredibly well-timed group portrait!

Recently, we were hired to provide board photos for the Carrollwood Area Business Association in North Tampa. After doing headshots of each of the eleven board members, they were all photographed for the composite. Newsome’s was responsible for editing the images down and selecting the best one of each person in order to compose the best group photo. The image was used on the website as well as the timeline photo on their Facebook page.

We did this last year for CABA as well, and have done similar panoramic styled staff photos for several different clients – dental offices, insurance companies, and law firms. The beauty of it is, everyone in the image looks their absolute best – no one has to “settle” for a bad expression, just because all the others look great!
